313!!!!

Re-qualified for 2010! Felt good and was ahead of my target splits and then wham - felt awful. Had to walk Dynamite and Cardiac and was a slug on the hills.
Once I realised I couldn't break the top 100 I opted to skip the swoop and panoramic and avoid the poison oak.
All in all I guess this is what I should have expected as I hadn't trained for the hills. So eventually I will feel better and start prepping for next year!

Congrats on the great result!! I am starting to get the dipsea bug for next yr, sort of a beginner. What monitor device do you use to record your stats. I have seen a few (Garmin, Nike, etc). What do you recommend?

Congrats on your Dipsea result! I am sort of a newbie at running. Up to around 5 miles at a slow 9.5 minute pace. What device do you use/recommend to monitor your training runs?? I have looked at some models online, e.g. Garmin, Nike etc. Thanks!

Congrats on your Dipsea results!! I am new to running and trying to build up -- currently running around 5 miles at 9.5 min/mi pace... Was curious as to what monitor device you recommend to obtain the results that you document in your chart. I have looked at Garmin, Nike etc.. Thanks!

I use a Garmin Forerunner 305. It keeps track of all the data you could possibly need. Garmin have also stepped up with their new Garmin Connect website. The site allows you to upload data and has a great interface.
