This was the second time (March 22nd) I have run this and I improved my time by 5 minutes.
During the past week I have noticed a significant improvement in my overall fitness, especially on hills. Not sure if this is just a result of the training or maybe a little loss of weight or even running without the slightly restrictive heart rate monitor.
Today I went for steady effort on the climbs and all of my split times were better than March 22nd when I ran the same loop. On that occasion I felt more stressed than I did today even though I ran slower. I also didi a little warm up today which could have helped a little but I think it really comes down to my training starting to pay off.
One mile cool down and 30 minute stretch/roller before and after weight: 144.8 body fat 13%
