Ran with my buddy Eric. Felt great to be on the course. I would estimate that we averaged around 80% intensity on the uphills and 55% on the downhills. We also took the opportunity to run alternate sections of the course to help with race day strategy. A few stops along the way probably helped with recovery and we stopped the watch whenever we were idle.
Took the west marin stagecoach ($2) back to Mill Valley (which we only just made!) at 10:15. This is a great way to run the course without having to shuffle cars. Alternatively you can park at Stinson and take the bus at the beginning of the workout and run back over the course to your car and warm clothes.
One mile cool down. 30 minute stretch routine.
